Our commitment

ArchIQ, Inc. will never sell, rent, lease, license, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own purposes. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models. We help businesses take control of their data; we hold ourselves to the same standard.

1. Who we are

ArchIQ, Inc. is a technology consulting company. This policy covers our website, archiq.io, and the information you give us through it.

2. Information we collect

What you send us. When you use our contact form or send us your self-assessment results, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it), and your message.

Self-assessment answers. The free self-assessment is scored entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you choose to submit them with the follow-up form.

Website usage. We run our own analytics service (Umami, self-hosted on servers we control) to understand how the site is used: pages visited, referring sites, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. To improve the site, we also record anonymous sessions — page interactions such as scrolling and clicks — and we review them only in aggregate or to fix problems. We don't use cookies for advertising, third-party ad trackers, or cross-site tracking.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser for that purpose only.

3. How we use your information

We use it to reply to you, to prepare anything you asked for (such as a plan based on your self-assessment), to run and improve the website, to keep it secure, and to meet legal obligations. That's all.

4. Who processes it for us

A few service providers process data on our behalf, under contract, only to provide their service to us: Microsoft Azure (website hosting and the email that delivers your messages to us) and Cloudflare (spam protection on forms). They may not use your data for their own purposes. Other than this, we disclose personal data only when the law requires it (for example, a court order or subpoena, with notice to you where permitted), or to prevent imminent harm.

5. Client data

When we work with your business, the data in your systems stays under your control. Our integrations run in your own environment, with your permissions. We access client data only as needed to deliver the work, under a written agreement, and we never sell or transfer it.

6. Your privacy rights under California law

Right to know: you may ask what personal information we hold about you, and how we use it.

Right to delete: you may ask us to delete your personal information. We'll do so within 45 days (extendable to 90 days with notice), except where the law requires us to keep it.

Right to correct: you may ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we don't sell or share personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of — but you're welcome to ask.

Right to non-discrimination: we won't treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to make a request: send us a message through our contact form, or write to us at the address below. We'll need to verify your identity. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf.

7. How long we keep it

We keep messages and contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you and for any business relationship that follows, then delete them. Website analytics are kept only as long as they're useful for improving the site. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

8. Security

We protect information with access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit, and regular security updates. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as California law requires.

9. Children's privacy

Our site and services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is material, we'll make that clear on this page.
